Over 27 years of dedicated legal practice in Texas. A graduate of The University of Texas School of Law, with a bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University, I use my knowledge, people skills, and extensive experience to provide focused and personalized legal counsel.

Served as General Counsel to the Texas Permanent School Fund Corporation, where I managed all legal matters for the state’s education-related investment fund with assets under management well over $55 billion
While at the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company, another multi-billion dollar investment fund of the State, I handled a high volume of private market investment contracts
At the Texas Department of Transportation, I was lead internal counsel on two multi-billion dollar toll road construction projects
While at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, I carried a voluminous load of environmental enforcement cases
At the Comptroller of Public Accounts, I was lead contracts counsel to the Texas Prepaid Higher Education Tuition Board, the office responsible for managing the State’s 529 plan and fund
